FMEA-Tip: implement FMEA right away

FMEA avoids risks upfront and not backwards analytical.

Right from the beginning, when you first have a product idea, or when you first think of new equipment or processes, your thoughts should include an initial FMEA.

Only if you consider possible risks before you order tools or equipment you will be properly prepared and avoid expensive mistakes or later design changes.

These initial FMEAs will of course not be complete, but weaknesses of concepts or failure potentials can already be identified in this early stage and thereby avoided.
